We keep this simple: no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking. What we store in your browser and why, and how to control it.
What we use
We use browser-level storage — cookies, localStorage and sessionStorage — to keep the site working the way you expect, without third-party ad tracking or cross-site profiling.
Strictly necessary
Three things are stored locally and persist until you clear them: your theme preference (light, dark or system), your selected language, and your cookie consent choice from the banner. These exist purely so the site remembers your preferences between visits.
Performance & analytics
We don't currently run analytics cookies. If we adopt a privacy-respecting analytics tool in future, we'll update this policy and ask for fresh consent first.
Marketing
We don't use marketing, retargeting or advertising cookies.
Third-party resources
A small number of external providers — for example, map tiles and web fonts — may set cookies under their own domain, governed by their own privacy policies. We choose vendors that avoid marketing or tracking cookies by default.
Your controls
You can set your preference in the cookie banner on your first visit, change your browser's cookie settings directly, clear stored data via your browser's developer tools, or browse in a private/incognito window. Because we don't do cross-site tracking, Do Not Track signals have no additional effect.
